Tyler's television work began with the University of Denver in 2009 and has expanded to include high school and college football, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, gymnastics, soccer, and more. He currently serves as the TV play-by-play voice of DU hockey as well as one of the lead voices of international baseball, calling games worldwide for the World Baseball Softball Confederation, the sport’s international governing body. In 2022 and 2023, he was the play-by-play broadcaster for the World Baseball Classic’s two Qualifiers and for the main tournament’s Pool A.
